Review generation and reputation for a concrete company
Reviews are the cheapest advantage in this trade and almost nobody takes it. 16.1% of concrete listings have zero reviews, 57.9% sit under ten, and only 4.9% have crossed a hundred. The median is 7. Getting to fifty moves you into a different tier of the map pack, and it feeds the AI answers too, which lean on review count harder than most owners expect.
The reason concrete companies have so few is timing. The crew packs up, the homeowner is standing on a new patio genuinely delighted, and nobody asks. Two days later that moment is gone for good. The ask belongs at the walkthrough, in person, followed by a text with your direct link inside the hour.
Volume matters more than rating here. The mean rating is 4.6 and 45.7% of listings sit at a perfect 5.0, which homeowners have learned to read as thin rather than excellent. A 4.7 with 120 reviews outsells a 5.0 with six.
Two weeks of a working system usually produces six to fifteen new reviews for a crew that is busy.
