Missed-call text-back for a concrete company
A concrete crew cannot answer a phone with both hands on a power trowel, and homeowners shopping a driveway do not leave voicemails. They dial the next listing on the map. At a job average in the thousands, a quarter of your calls going unanswered is not an annoyance, it is a truck payment.
Text-back is the highest return automation in this trade, for two reasons past the obvious one. It qualifies while you are still on the slab, because the message asks what and how big. And homeowners reply with a photo of their driveway, and a photo is most of an estimate. Put your own call volume into the calculator before deciding this is a small problem.
The second half is quote follow-up, which almost nobody runs. Concrete bids go quiet constantly, waiting on a spouse, a refund or spring. Five touches over three weeks, mostly by text, recovers a real share of them. The last one, the polite close-out that assumes they went elsewhere, pulls more replies than the four before it combined.
