Google Ads management for a concrete company
Concrete clicks are cheap next to the ticket and expensive next to the junk they attract. Driveway and patio replacement terms run $8 to $22 a click in most metros, and a real lead, meaning a homeowner inside your radius who wants flatwork you actually pour, lands between $45 and $150. Against a job average in the thousands, that is a rounding error when the account is aimed correctly.
The mistake is bidding on the word concrete. It is attached to countertops, ready mix delivery, floor paint, cinder block and job listings, and none of those people are hiring a crew. Owners switch the campaign on, spend $700 to $1,000 in three weeks, take four wrong numbers and decide Google does not work for this trade.
Two weeks in, working looks like a search terms report you would not be embarrassed to print, calls recorded so you can hear which keyword produced which homeowner, and a cost per call you can check against your own close rate. It does not look like a full October schedule. Flatwork quotes sit for two to six weeks while a spouse decides. The Google Ads guide has the campaign structure.
